The F-Rank Guild Master Has Too Much Money Chapter 64
“That one.”
“It’s my companion.”
I must have poured more strength into Bia than intended—dizziness washed over me for a moment.
“Are you alright?”
“Yes.”
An Bom approached and gently took my hand.
“I didn’t know Bia could get that big.”
“It’s been a while since I’ve seen her grow that large too.”
A thousand years ago, when the Demon King invaded the world I’d created, Bia had taken on this massive form at my command. She trampled through the Demon King’s army, tearing them apart one after another, then snatched the Demon King in a single bite and brought him to me. I remembered the look on his face inside her mouth and let out a quiet laugh.
“How interesting.”
Yeon Do-jin’s eyes sparkled with dangerous excitement, so I warned him flatly:
“She’s not fighting.”
“Just once.”
“No.”
Why would I let him spar with Bia? They’d only end up hurting each other.
“What if I give you my guild?”
“I don’t need it.”
Ignoring Yeon Do-jin—who had gone from offering money and favors to offering his entire guild just to fight Bia—I turned away.
☆ At This Rate has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
Isn’t that guy basically a fighting rooster? He’s always itching for a fight.
☆ To Aether has donated 100 Mana Stones to Aether. ☆
What do you expect from someone who’s only nice because he wants to fight?
☆ I’m On Yeon Do-jin’s Side! has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
He’s handsome, that’s why! If you grant dead people’s wishes, grant the living’s too!
After staring at Talos for a long time as if assessing him, Bia suddenly dashed forward. The ground shook with each thunderous step as she charged, dodged the long blade in a single smooth motion, and swung her massive paw.
“Meow Meow Punch!”
☆ Giant Hand has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
Meow Meow Punch… Emelyn Kiyo—I’ll never understand how her mind works.
☆ My Sis has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
She’s pure like a baby spirit!
Talos, unfazed by a paw the size of his own face, swung his sword again. As the blade came for Bia’s neck, she unfurled her wings. With movements as fluid as silk, she lifted herself into the air.
“She has wings too?!”
Talos slashed upward, but Bia twisted through the air and struck him with another heavy blow. Claw marks appeared across his once-impenetrable body. Even though the hero possessed divine power, his vessel couldn’t fully contain it.
He stood no chance against an Apostle made entirely of divine power. Bia’s golden, glowing paw—overflowing with divine energy—slammed into Talos’s face.
“Whoa. He’s staggering.”
As the giant wobbled, Bia swung again.
Thud!
Talos crashed to the ground, and Bia landed on top of him. Pressing her paw against his chest, she bit into his neck without hesitation. Even as Talos thrashed violently, Bia refused to let go, earning scratches along her own body.
“Don’t we… need to help her?”
I shook my head. I cared deeply for Bia, but I had never spared her from an Apostle’s duties. She’d endured worse situations than this—and she would again. Bia’s fangs sank deeper into Talos’s neck. As blue blood seeped out, I turned to Yeon Do-jin.
“Let’s go pull the plug. Open a portal.”
“You really do use me like a transportation service.”
“You say that like it’s something new.”
☆ Portal… has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
Yeon Do-jin Portal. Price: a sparring match.
☆ If It’s a Handsome Portal Like That, has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
I want one too…
☆ In Exchange has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
But you’d have to fight every single time. Lazy Aether wouldn’t take it even if it was free.
Yeon Do-jin chuckled and opened a portal near Talos’s heel. We stepped through. Sensing danger, Talos struggled even harder, so I used wind to hold his body in place.
“This is the thing we’re supposed to pull out?”
I nodded as Emelyn Kiyo pointed to a golden plug, about the size of a coin, behind Talos’s massive heel. She and Choi Tae-hyuk pulled it out in one swift motion.
Even restrained by wind, Talos let out a scream as the plug came free. Golden liquid poured from the hole, and the moment it touched the ground, it transformed into shimmering black smoke and vanished.
☆ Corne’s Mana has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
So it really is black.
☆ It’s Pretty. has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
Shimmering black mana… how beautiful.
Talos’s thrashing slowed, then ceased altogether. Bia released his neck, and with a loud thud, his head hit the ground.
Then his entire body began dissolving into particles of light. As the shimmering fragments drifted away, they left behind only a single red gem where he had fallen.
“Do monsters disappear like this?”
“Never seen it before.”
“This is new to me as well.”
As I stared, confused by the sight of Talos dissolving, I asked,
“Huh? You said it’s your first time seeing this?”
“Yes, when we clear dungeons, monster corpses don’t disappear like this,” Choi Tae-hyuk answered, then suddenly let out an “Ah,” as if remembering something. “During that last B-rank dungeon, the Kraken disappeared the same way.”
The Kraken was a monster created by the gods. Talos was a hero created by Corne. And I knew of one more monster that vanished in sparkling light—the queen ant
Back then, during my first dungeon after awakening, I’d assumed all monsters turned into light particles when they died.
But thinking back… the humanoid fish monsters in that B-rank dungeon, and the orcs and trolls during the monster wave—they had all left bodies behind.
‘So only monsters created with divine power disappear into light dust… but why? For what purpose?’
“Grr?”
While I was clenching and unclenching my fist, sorting through my thoughts, Bia’s voice reached me. Back to her normal adult size, she was holding a red gemstone in her mouth.
“What’s this?”
“Hmm. A ruby?”
“It’s pretty.”
“Just in case—don’t touch it.”
Unlike the three who were drawn to the gem, Yeon Do-jin couldn’t take his eyes off Bia.
“If it were dangerous, Bia wouldn’t have brought it over. Bia, give it here.”
The gem Bia dropped into my palm was heavier—and warmer—than I expected.
☆ It’s Pretty. has donated 100 Mana Stones.☆
That thing is so pretty.
☆ I Want That has donated 100 Mana Stones.☆
I’ve seen that somewhere before… but I can’t remember.
☆ Me Too. has donated 100 Mana Stones.☆
I’ve definitely seen it somewhere.
‘Huh? Even the gods have seen this? Then what is it?’
I was curious, but I wasn’t about to use Clairvoyance in front of Emelyn Kiyo or Yeon Do-jin, so I looked at them instead.
“How should we split this?”
“I got this, so you take it, Yeon-woo.”
Emelyn Kiyo smiled brightly and pointed at her shoes.
“That thing’s not worth much.”
“It’s fine. I like these better.”
“Thank you.”
“For what? I should be thanking you.”
After thanking the beaming Emelyn Kiyo, I turned to Yeon Do-jin.
“Then I’ll spar with that beast inste—”
“No. Don’t even dream about it.”
He must’ve been testing the waters because he obediently nodded.
“Then just keep it, Guildmaster Ji Yeon-woo.”
“But what even is it?”
“I’m not that interested. And since today’s match got cut short, you owe me another spar later.”
He wasn’t wrong—the spar had been interrupted. I nodded immediately.
“Let’s head back, then.”
Realizing I was barefoot because of Emelyn Kiyo, Choi Tae-hyuk took my hand and gently urged me along.
“Yes, let’s go. Did you bring your car?”
“No, I took a taxi.”
At his answer, I glanced at Yeon Do-jin. He clicked his tongue and opened another portal.
“Mr. Yeon Do-jin, take care. Kiyo, see you later.”
“Yeah! I’ll come to play again!”
“Please do.”
As soon as we stepped into the room, the portal closed behind us. I pulled off my dirty socks and fell onto the sofa.
“Aigo…”
All I did today was spar with Yeon Do-jin and run for my life, yet my whole body felt like I’d rolled down a hill ten times. The moment I collapsed, Bia—now small again—curled into my arms.
“You worked hard, my baby.”
She had injuries all over. I wanted to heal her with divine power, but that would only make An Bom or Choi Tae-hyuk suspicious. So instead of healing her, I kissed her forehead. That alone made Bia purr and snuggle into me.
“Are you alright?” An Bom asked.
“Yes. You two worked hard as well.”
“No, I didn’t do much. Do you want more healing?”
“No, I’m fine. Where’s Kwon Beom-gaun?”
An Bom pointed toward the master bedroom.
“Then go inside and get some rest. I’ll head down to the dormitory and rest too.”
“Yes. I’ll see you tomorrow!”
I watched An Bom disappear through the gate—then turned to see Choi Tae-hyuk standing stiffly nearby.
“Hmm? Choi Tae-hyuk?”
He sighed and sank onto the sofa across from me.
I hadn’t noticed in all the chaos earlier, but scratch marks covered his face.
“Huh? Choi Tae-hyuk, your face looks painful.”
When I reached out and brushed one, my fingers came away smeared with blood.
‘He didn’t get this from fighting Talos… so where did this happen?’
“I’ll call An Bom back.”
I grabbed my phone, but he stopped me with another sigh.
“Guildmaster… you promised you’d stay home while I was in the dungeon.”
“Ah. Well, that was just a simple sparring match, so—”
☆ Oh Right! has donated 100 Mana Stones.☆
The hospital!! You forgot the hospital!!
☆ Before Boarding the Plane has donated 100 Mana Stones.☆
Call him!! Kwon Beom-gaun’s hospital!!
‘Oh! Right. I completely forgot.’
“Choi Tae-hyuk, wait a moment!”
I brushed aside Choi Tae-hyuk’s hand as he tried to stop me and immediately called Yeon Do-jin.
“Why are you calling Yeon Do-jin aga—”
I put a finger to my lips, signaling him to be quiet.
—Yes, Guildmaster Ji Yeon-woo.
“Guildmaster Yeon Do-jin.”
He let out a low chuckle at the formality.
—Why so polite? Sounds like you’re about to ask for a favor.
‘What? Was I that obvious?’
Feeling exposed, I bit my lip.
—You’re looking into S Hospital, right?
“…How did you know?”
—I already handled it. Just visit tomorrow.
‘What the hell. Did this guy assign someone to spy on me?’
Yeon Do-jin hung up after telling me to meet him once he returned to Korea.
“So you’re meeting Yeon Do-jin because of Kwon Beom-gaun’s younger sibling’s hospital?”
Choi Tae-hyuk must’ve overheard everything.
“Yes. Among the local hospitals, S Hospital is the best. And since Yeon Do-jin suddenly had to go abroad for a seminar, the spar got rushed too.”
At that explanation, Choi Tae-hyuk’s expression hardened.
“Guildmaster… about Yeon Do-jin…”
The raws didn’t indicate who was speaking, so you may need to infer it from context. I’d add speaker tags, but I don’t want to risk guessing wrong. Thank you for understanding.
