BJ Villainess Chapter 166

Author: alyalia

Theresa slipped out of Libby’s arms.

“Older Sister!”

Libby was startled and hugged her, but different hands came out from either side of her and grabbed Theresa. It was Ilya and Damian.

“I’ll hold her.” Ilya was the one who acted faster. He took Theresa in his arms. The movement of leaning her small head on his shoulder seemed overly natural.

Damian, with a kind face, suggested, “I’m Theresa’s escort. If Professor held her, everyone would think it was strange. Wouldn’t that be troublesome for Theresa?” He then pointed outside the greenhouse.

The place was bustling with people. This was the result of contacting the Squire family and Valhalla for assistance via magical communication when the space-time gap was open. However, they couldn’t enter the greenhouse due to the closed magic barrier. Now, all the magi were gone, and they were entering.

The first person to enter was Raul.

“Theresa!” He was overcome with resentment when he saw his daughter collapsed in Ilya’s arms.

God is so unfair. Why did these trials keep befalling her?

Raul reached out to take Therese, saying to Ilya, “Let’s get her outside. We need to get her to a doctor and then head back to the duchy.”

“Sure,” answered Ilya, and he walked to the greenhouse door without handing Theresa over.

Raul was taken aback. “I will take my daughter back, so hand her over.”

At that moment, Ilya’s expression changed eerily. It was such a fleeting moment that Raul doubted where he had actually seen his expression.

“It’s dangerous to move a fainted person from place to place, so let’s just leave like this.”

Ignoring Raul’s response, Ilya left the greenhouse. The onlookers, including Raul, were taken aback.

Frustrated but concerned about Libby’s well-being, Raul followed Ilya outside. Meanwhile, Damian, unable to even fake a smile, watched Ilya leave.

Felix approached Ilya, looking guilty. “Are you okay?”

“Yes.”

“I’m sorry for involving you. It looks like a demon has manifested.”

“It was just an accident.”

Felix tried to gently remove a strand of hair from Theresa’s face. Slap! Before he could even reach it, his hand was violently slapped. Ilya was the one who slapped it.

“I don’t care if a demon has manifested, but don’t touch Theresa.” He had an indifferent expression and tone, but the murderousness beneath it made you feel numb.

Ah, uhh. I’m sorry.” Felix responded like that, but he was puzzled. He knew that Ilya had slight feelings for Theresa. But was it this deep?

The action of carefully laying down Theresa in the carriage and arranging her hair is something that can be done by anyone, but what are those eyes? The look in his eyes filled with affection was definitely not the kind he would give to his student. His attitude of not knowing to back down and staying by her side to the point where the doctor and all in the surroundings noticed it. Perhaps because of the secretive atmosphere that made everyone see it blush, everyone here could tell that Ilya had something else on his mind.

Cough.” With a fake cough, Raul expressed his feelings in a very unpleasant mood, but Ilya didn’t budge.

“Professor.”

So he raised his voice to call him, and as soon as Theresa left, the cold eyes reached Raul.

“Please get out of the way. It’s not right for an outsider to stand by the side of an unmarried lady who fainted.”

Ilya narrowed his eyebrows. “Theresa and I were in and out of the prison of sleep together. I’m probably the one who knows the situation best, but is it really okay for me to leave?”

Raul was stunned. When he asked him to leave, the crazy professor was threatening him. However, since it wasn’t entirely wrong, he suppressed his temper, which was about to flare up.

Does he have feelings for Theresa?

In fact, he didn’t even have to question it. It had been revealed in a way that no one can deny. What made it even stranger was that instead of trying to make a good impression on the father of the woman he loves, Iya showed hostility.

From Raul’s perspective, it was absurd, but for Ilya, it was a natural response. After all, Raul wasn’t Theresa’s biological family.

In Ilya’s eyes, Raul was a stranger to Theresa and, moreover, a man. And an individual Theresa cared about excessively. By Ilya’s standards, Raul was someone to be wary of. Perhaps someone he wanted to get rid of.

Then the doctor said, “Apart from being extremely weakened, there’s nothing particularly wrong.”

Raul was deeply relieved. He got out of the carriage, rubbing his stiff eyes, which had been on edge all day. He wanted to take Theresa and Libby to the duchy right away but couldn’t.

A demon had appeared, and not just any demon, but a high-ranking one capable of manifesting its true form. They needed to inspect the situation thoroughly to report to the emperor the next day.

At that moment, Libby approached him.

“Father, there’s something I need to tell you.”

“Not now, Libby, the situation is…”

“I see a butterfly.”

“…A butterfly?”

“It’s a white butterfly. Right here.” Libby pointed to a white butterfly sitting on his shoulder, still visible to her eyes. “It seems invisible to others. And look there.”

This time, it was a carriage. Raul saw the carriage where Therese lay. Raul looked at the carriage. There was nothing else besides the doctor and Ilya who were leaving and the unconscious Theresa.

“What’s that?”

“You see it too, Father.”

The carriage was brightly lit with magic. Theresa’s shadow stretched to the ground, and it looked unusual as if something was attached to it.

“Those are butterfly wings. It seems no one else has noticed yet.”

It made sense. It was night, and the area was dim, lit only at spots by magic. The shadows were jumbled and chaotic, but no one paid attention to them.

Libby continued. “The white butterfly brought older sister back to reality. It went through the rift in dimensions and came out with her.”

“…Libby, let’s keep quiet about this for now,” said Raul, understanding the complexity of the situation.

Libby nodded gravely.

“Go rest into the carriage. I was too distracted to care for you. Did you get examined?’

“Yes, I’ve lost some energy, but I’m fine.”

“That’s good to hear…”

Then, the wizards approached and reported to Raul. “There’s no sign of the demon. We just need to purify the contaminated magical plants inside the greenhouse.”

“Gather those who can use purification magic immediately.”

But it wasn’t necessary. Ilya, who seemed like he would never leave Theresa’s side, approached the greenhouse and stretched out his hand. Suddenly, everything began to restore as if time was reversing. Broken glass was reattached, and the scattered items in the greenhouse returned to their places. The contaminated plants were healed. Though Ilya couldn’t purify, he could reverse objects a few hours back in time.

The sight was so incredible it left everyone gasping.

“My goodness…”

“Is he reversing time? Is that even possible?”

“It’s theoretically possible, but…”

Originally, it was widely known that the Bernstein family’s second son was outstanding. Then, starting one day, he made a name for himself as a genius of unprecedented talent. Was this the overwhelming power of a genius?

After showing this incredible sight, oblivious to the stares around him, Ilya nonchalantly spoke to Felix. “Now that the greenhouse is fine, you’ll keep the promise you made with Theresa.”

“Huh?” Felix wondered what the hell this was about and belatedly came up with the request. Is the reason for this tremendous magic just to take care of Theresa’s share of the magical plants?

Uuh, o-of course.”

Ilya, who heard the answer she wanted, went back to Therese without regret.

Felix shook his head. “He’s crazy. Totally crazy.” He has heard that love changes people, but never to this extent.

Ilya then approached Raul. “I’ll take care of everything related to this incident. Don’t make Theresa do anything.”

Raul wanted to exclaim, ‘Are you crazy?!’ but swallowed his words. “…Alright. Thanks.”

Ilya was like a rogue with a respectable appearance.

Raul sighed and looked with a complicated mind at Ilya, who got into the carriage where Theresa lay. It seemed that there would soon be marriage talks between Bernstein’s and Squire’s families.
