BJ Villainess Chapter 364
Ozworld Special Story 2. Living with an Alien
Where did it all go wrong? For someone like him, who had always lived a life where every choice was the right one, this problem was impossibly difficult. Was it because he’d lived so long, becoming used to everything going his way? Is that why he assumed she, too, would act as he wished, and why he now deserves this punishment?
Ozworld crumbled for the first time in front of the love he truly wanted. She told him that everything about him was the problem. If he truly loved her, he shouldn’t have tried to change her, but should have changed himself.
She was right. To have her, he would have had to remake himself from the ground up.
Ozworld let out a hollow laugh. In the end, the conclusion of this love had been decided from the moment he was born. He was born a villain, lived as a villain until the end, and so died as a villain. It was a fitting end, just like a character from a story.
Ssshhhh—But then, why could he feel the cold rain? He opened his eyes in a dimly lit alleyway.
Where is this…?
“Cough!” The moment consciousness returned, an overwhelming cold and pain struck him. Powerless for the first time in his life, he could do nothing but lean against the wall.
“Excuse me, are you alright?”
Ozworld sighed the moment he recognized the owner of the voice with his sunken eyes. Shin Jiwoo.
She was looking down at him with a face that showed she knew nothing. Her gaze was a mix of worry and caution as she looked at the unfamiliar figure. Soon, Jiwoo took out her phone and spoke. “I’ll call the police, no, I’ll call an ambulance first.”
Jiwoo. Ozworld mouthed her name, but only a faint metallic sound escaped his lips. Even that was drowned out by the rain. What little energy he had left quickly faded from his body.
Would he disappear forever like this? Before he lost consciousness, he reached out his hand, but couldn’t make contact, and it dropped helplessly to his side. Soon, his consciousness disappeared.

“Jiwoo? Shin Jiwoo!”
I was blankly staring at an error screen when senior Seonga called out to me, making me jump and look up.
“Ah… Yes? What is it?”
“I told you, I have an external meeting today. I asked if you’re coming along. We need to recruit an illustrator.”
“Oh, right.”
Maybe my half-hearted response was too lackluster, because Senior Seonga frowned and asked, “Is something up these days?”
Is something up? There is. Something so bizarre. How am I supposed to explain that I picked up a foreign guy? And not just any foreigner, but one I’m not even sure is from Earth.
“It’s nothing.”
“It doesn’t seem like nothing. Oh, right, did you get your phone fixed? Didn’t it suddenly break the other day?”
“The inside was completely melted. So I’m going to buy a new one today.”
“Is it a device defect? How could the inside melt?”
Exactly. I thought back to the rainy night a few days ago. Just as I was about to call the police because someone collapsed in an alley, my phone screen went black and then died completely. That wasn’t the end of the strange events.
Anyway, since someone had collapsed, I looked around for help, but there was no one. It was as if everyone had disappeared at once. Freaked out by this bizarre phenomenon, I tried to find the nearest police station. But no matter how far I walked, I kept ending up back in front of that man. It was like being haunted. In the end, I gave up and just took him home.
And that was weird, too. Even though the man was clearly huge, he was as light as a cotton doll. It was as if the whole universe wanted to entrust him to me.
Even now, the man was still unconscious. I tried several times afterward to call the police or an ambulance, but failed every time.
He was definitely not human. That much I was sure of. But was I scared of him? Not really.
These days, that mysterious man was the thing that occupied my mind most and piqued my curiosity more than anything before. First of all, he was handsome. When I first saw his face clearly in the light, I was so shocked I froze on the spot. His looks were so unreal that my curiosity only grew with each passing day. Maybe that’s why I was taking such diligent care of him, hoping he’d wake up soon.
When will he wake up? Even during meetings, I’d find myself thinking of him and shaking my head to clear my mind. Focus, focus. Who knows when he’ll wake up. And why do I keep thinking about him?
Luckily, Senior Seonga didn’t seem to notice my half-absent state and suddenly suggested a team dinner, saying she was satisfied with the meeting.
“On a day with results like this, we have to celebrate. My treat! Call Wonwoo and Bomi, too!”
“I’ll sit this one out.”
“What? Why!”
“I have something to take care of at home.”
Since Senior Seonga knew my situation, she squinted and pressed, “What’s gotten into you to turn down a free meal? Are you hiding a boyfriend at home? You’ve got a man, don’t you?”
He wasn’t a boyfriend, but there was a man at home, so my heart skipped a beat.
“So there is something!” At times like this, Senior Seonga’s intuition was even sharper than usual. She pressed me, sounding excited. “What is it? Who is it? Someone I know?”
“Seriously, it’s not like that… I recently found an injured dog near my house, so I’ve been taking care of it.”
“Wow, really? Why didn’t you say so! Is it badly hurt? You should go check on it.”
“Uh, yeah… I’ll get going then.”
Getting through the situation with a poor lie left me feeling drained. If I stayed any longer, I felt like I might accidentally blurt out, ‘Actually, I picked up a weird guy,’ so I hurried home as if running away.
Creek. The moment I opened the door and stepped inside, I didn’t even take off my shoes—I just looked ahead. “…You’re awake.”
The man was sitting there, giving off a gloomy aura. Now conscious, he stared at me intensely with those striking blue eyes you couldn’t look away from.
I slowly took off my shoes and approached him. “How are you feeling?”
At my awkward question, he flinched. And then… he cried.
Huh? Why all of a sudden? Did I make him cry? That can’t be it, right?
“W-Why are you crying…?”
The man wept so silently it could break your heart. He looked at me endlessly, as if seeking comfort. So I pulled a few tissues and handed them to him, hoping he’d at least wipe his tears. But he didn’t move.
What the? Does he want me to wipe them for him?
He didn’t seem intent on wiping his own tears, and I almost felt exasperated, but with great generosity, I gently dabbed his face with a tissue. But seriously, he looks even better when awake. Even his tears looked pretty. His face could enchant anyone.
“Hey, can you stop crying? You’re going to use up a whole box of tissues at this rate.”
At that, the man turned his head and closed his eyes, but the tears didn’t stop. I wondered if I’d done something wrong and felt a little awkward.
He may not be a human, but if he cries this much, won’t he get dehydrated? Unsure of what to do, I finally tried the one thing that had been stuck in my mind for a while. I hugged him and gently patted his back.
“Stop crying now.”
That surprised him more than anything so far. His whole body stiffened in shock. But soon, he buried his face in my shoulder and, very cautiously, hugged me back. Only then did he let out a long sigh.
So this was the answer after all.
Pretending not to care, I looked away, but from time to time, I’d sneak glances at him as he curled up. It was the first time I’d ever been so physically close to a man, so it was really awkward.
But how long am I supposed to keep hugging him…? Thinking it was enough, I tried to slip away, but he tugged at my sleeve, pulling me back. It was a small act of rebellion, asking me not to leave. A little ridiculous—but also kind of cute.
I guess I’m weak to handsome men acting cute. And so, I kept holding him until he was satisfied.
