The F-Rank Guild Master Has Too Much Money Chapter 31
A low voice echoed, and everyone looked toward the door. Leaning against it with his arms folded was Yeon Do-jin in a black suit and long curly hair.
“Kkii!”
Saphi and Choi Tae-hyuk immediately moved in front of me. Even though Yeon Do-jin’s polished shoes touched the marble floor, they made no sound.
When he finally stopped beside the bed, I noticed a pink-flowered band-aid stuck to his cheek.
What’s with that band-aid?
It completely ruins the mood—but since he’s so handsome, it weirdly suits him, which makes it even more annoying.
But seriously, how did he get in here?
They said the security was tight — what a load of crap.
It’s not like I live alone. People can’t just waltz onto the eighth floor like that.
“I came to pick you up myself. Let’s go to the meeting.”
“Guildmaster Yeon Do-jin. How exactly did you get in here?”
“Haven’t you already seen my ability?”
He uncrossed his arms and waved his hands—bare, without the black leather gloves. That day, after taking them off, he had used the ‘Knock on the Ceiling’ skill.
The skill that opens the sky.
Damn it. As I thought—this bastard has the same ability as his brother. A spatial-type awakener.
So that so-called dungeon gate back then wasn’t a real gate at all. He had ripped open space to create an entrance.
The gloves… he wears them to prevent accidents, doesn’t he?
“No, it’s just mysophobia.”
What the—? Can he read minds now? Is that a skill too?
☆ Aether~ has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
Keep your expression in check. It’s all over your face.
At the donation popup, Yeon Do-jin pulled a sheepish face and shrugged. Pointing at the door, I said:
“This is trespassing. Leave before I call the cops.”
“That’s why I’m being quiet. Otherwise, I would’ve just killed everyone.”
‘Yep, he’s definitely crazy.’
I tapped Choi Tae-hyuk and Saphi, signaling them to step aside. They hesitated but moved.
“I don’t know if you’ve heard, but I just woke up after passing out that day. Sorry, but I can’t go to the meeting—”
“That’s why I came to get you. Like this.”
Yeon Do-jin waved his hand. The air split open, and a large portal appeared. Inside was a familiar scene: the auction hall where the Queen Ant’s necklace had been sold. The place where I’d obtained Saphi. The Hunter Association’s underground auction house.
“No need for a car, wouldn’t you say?”
“I don’t think I can walk.”
“I’ll take care of that too.”
Yeon Do-jin pulled a whip from his suit jacket. It coiled in the air like a snake.
“You won’t even need to walk. I’ll deliver you nice and easy.”
The whip’s handle bobbed as if alive. …Wait, is he seriously planning to wrap me up in that thing and carry me?
☆ I Kinda Like Him has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
I like bulldozer types.
☆ Me Too has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
I like people who go after what they want.
☆ As the Saying Goes! has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
They say beauty belongs to those who take it!
☆ Even If I Try to Hate Him has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
With that face, I just can’t hate him.
☆ Even Aether Too has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
Looks like you like people who push forward. You do everything when Corne pushes you.
Like hell. That’s bullshit. I really hate this.
Why the hell is he doing this to some F-rank? What excuse can I come up with to make him give up and leave?
“Otherwise.”
“Otherwise?”
“Whoa!”
Yeon Do-jin’s whip suddenly lashed toward An Bom.
“An Bom!”
Choi Tae-hyuk rushed forward and shielded An Bom. The whip immediately changed direction and came for me.
‘This damn whip!’
Seeing An Bom collapse to the floor, I summoned wind to deflect it.
A stabbing pain pierced me, followed by nausea and the metallic taste of blood in my mouth.
“Guildmaster!!”
Blood trickled from the corner of my lips. I wiped it away with a trembling hand and glared at Yeon Do-jin.
“What are you doing?”
“The basics of negotiation start with the first strike. Don’t you know that?”
This wasn’t just a threat—he genuinely meant to drag me away, even if someone died.
Why is he so determined? What’s the real reason behind this guild meeting, and why does he need me there?
“Do I even have a reason to go?”
“I’ll explain once we get there.”
Yeon Do-jin smiled faintly, then his expression hardened.
Choi Tae-hyuk charged at him. The whip flew to intercept; Choi Tae-hyuk swung an arm to block it, but it attacked even harder.
I gathered my strength and summoned wind to stop the whip. Yeon Do-jin narrowed his eyes.
“Choi Tae-hyuk—don’t move. If you want someone to die, be my guest and try to stop me.”
As the wind held the whip at bay, Choi Tae-hyuk froze mid-step.
Yeon Do-jin’s gaze shifted to Ji Yun-seo, held in Gumiho’s arms.
“Take your eyes off her.”
I growled under my breath. Who the hell did he think he was, staring at her? His eyes flicked back to me. He didn’t say it aloud, but his meaning was clear—Ji Yun-seo was next.
The silence grew heavy. Slowly, his lips curved into a smile.
I sighed long and hard, then nodded.
“Fine. Let’s go.”
I glared at him, then stood abruptly and headed into the dressing room. Choi Tae-hyuk followed.
“Why are you coming in? Who knows what Yeon Do-jin might do?”
“As long as you agree to go, he won’t make a move. But… are you really going?”
“I’d feel uneasy if you stayed here. Please wait outside. I’ll change and come out.”
“I’ll go with you.”
“…I can handle this alone.”
“I’ll go with you.”
His expression was so unyielding that I finally gave in and sent Choi Tae-hyuk out.
He’d said Yeon Do-jin wouldn’t act, but I still felt uneasy. I grabbed the first T-shirt and pants I could find, threw them on, and stepped outside. Yeon Do-jin stood there, already wearing black gloves.
He put those on already? Don’t tell me the gloves are tied to his skills. That whole “mysophobia” excuse sounds like a lie.
And what’s his connection to my brother? Why is he using my brother’s power? Almost as if reading my thoughts, Yeon Do-jin smiled faintly, his expression unreadable.
“Shall I bind you with a whip?”
“I feel better after changing. No need for that.”
“You were vomiting blood earlier; you shouldn’t push yourself. I can make things more comfortable for you.”
‘Why was I coughing up blood in the first place?’
“No, I’m fine.”
While I faced Yeon Do-jin and waited for Choi Tae-hyuk, An Bom cautiously approached and took my hand.
“Let me heal you before you go.”
“Thank you.”
Warm energy flowed into me, easing the pain I’d been ignoring.
If An Bom hadn’t been here, things could’ve turned out badly. Once the pain dulled, I let go of her hand to show I was fine.
“You’re weak. That’s a real problem.”
“If not for you, I’d have just rested and recovered.”
“I hope you get better soon. I hate weak people—I’d rather kill them.”
The threats never stop. What grudge does he even have against me?
Just then, light flared from the floor and Choi Tae-hyuk appeared. Like Yeon Do-jin, he was dressed in a black suit—looking more like the Guildmaster than me.
☆ Aing has donated 100 Magic Stones. ☆
Aether should wear a suit too. I’d love to see that!
…Come to think of it, maybe I should’ve worn one myself.
“I’m coming too,” Choi Tae-hyuk said.
“You’re just a guild member. On what grounds do you think you can join us?”
“Choi Tae-hyuk is the Vice Guildmaster.”
Who does this bastard think he is, dismissing Choi Tae-hyuk? He’s our precious S-rank!
I blurted it out before I could stop myself, then glanced nervously at Choi Tae-hyuk, worried he’d mind me speaking for him.
Luckily, he didn’t seem to. He simply stared at Yeon Do-jin with a blank expression.
Backing me up, Gumiho nodded. “The invitation never said only Guildmasters could attend.”
She was right—the letter only mentioned a guild gathering, not that it was Guildmasters-only.
Smirking, I looked at Yeon Do-jin. He only nodded calmly, as if he’d expected this.
“Then the two of you may come.”
I stepped toward the portal he had opened.
* * *
The warm air of my room vanished, replaced by a chill against my skin.
Once Choi Tae-hyuk and I crossed through, the portal sealed behind us, leaving us in the underground auction hall of the Hunter Association.
“Is this where the meeting is?”
“I couldn’t open it directly into the conference room, so I linked it here. If walking is too much for you—”
“No, I’ll walk.”
I shook my head, glaring at the snake-like whip coiling lazily around Yeon Do-jin.
That bastard’s doing it on purpose.
But Yeon Do-jin only smiled pleasantly and led the way.
When we reached the conference room on the third floor, it was still empty. Aside from Yeon Do-jin, only Choi Tae-hyuk and I were there.
“Sorry, Choi Tae-hyuk—there’s no seat for you.”
“That’s fine. I’ll stand.”
“Why? There are plenty of empty seats.”
The room was lined with vacant chairs. I pointed at them, but Yeon Do-jin just chuckled.
“If only.”
The empty chairs vanished in an instant, as if turned to sand. I stared as they were swept away by a breeze, and he just shrugged.
“Seems there’s nowhere to sit.”
‘That skill…’
☆ Huh? has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
Am I seeing things, or did that just disappear?
☆ What? has donated 100 Mana Stones. ☆
That’s Annihilation. Mid-tier god level or higher—how is that even possible?
Just like the pop-ups said—it was Annihilation. A power only creator gods could wield. So why could Yeon Do-jin use it?
What is his true identity? I wanted to use Clairvoyance again, but the change in my eyes would give me away.
I regretted not memorizing all his skills when I used it the first time. I’ll have to find another chance—it’s driving me insane.
Despite my spiraling thoughts, Yeon Do-jin smiled wickedly.
“Now then, let’s begin the real conversation.”
“But not everyone’s here yet. What are we even discussing?”
“This first guildmasters’ meeting is just you and me, Ji Yeon-woo.”
“Huh?”
“Aren’t all the guests here?”
Yeon Do-jin shrugged, grabbed the floating whip, and rose to his feet. In the blink of an eye, it lashed toward Choi Tae-hyuk’s face.
I threw up a gust of wind to block it. Yeon Do-jin only shrugged.
“Two against one is a bit unfair.”
“What the hell are you doing?”
“Just removing unnecessary people.”
“Crazy!”
When the whip lashed at Choi Tae-hyuk again, I shaped a blade of wind and hurled it to him. Catching it midair, he struck the whip and slammed it to the floor.
‘Good thing An Bom healed me earlier.’
Even with the whip pinned, Yeon Do-jin only smiled at Choi Tae-hyuk’s scowl.
“Guildmaster Yeon Do-jin, cut the jokes,” Choi Tae-hyuk said.
“Who ever said I was joking?”
“You think this is funny?”
“We only just met today, right? You talk as if you’ve known me for years.”
Yeon Do-jin shrugged again, and Choi Tae-hyuk’s frown deepened. The whip lunged once more, but Choi Tae-hyuk deflected it and charged.
Yeon Do-jin drew a black sword, catching Choi Tae-hyuk’s strike with ease.
“Oh? You actually want to fight seriously?” Yeon Do-jin teased.
“If you touch the Guildmaster, I’ll get serious.”
“Is that so?”
He pushed Choi Tae-hyuk’s blade aside and stepped back lightly.
Unpredictable. Dangerous. He was like a time bomb ready to explode. I moved discreetly to Choi Tae-hyuk’s side, wanting to back him up.
“Choi Tae-hyuk, if you’re here, Guild Leader Ji Yeon-woo won’t have to overextend himself.”
“This isn’t the place for fighting.”
“Then what—shall we move to a dungeon?”
“Yeon Do-jin.”
“Sorry, but the one I came to see isn’t you, Choi Tae-hyuk. It’s Guildmaster Ji Yeon-woo.”
His gaze locked onto me. In those black eyes, there was no trace of emotion.

After the brother, this emo kid is hateful as well. Figures, since he was probably sponsored by the brother. Why else would he propose a bet when Yeon-woo can use his divine powers? Of course he’d find someone that could match up against him, knowing he put our Mc in the body of an F-rank human.
Makes me think that mc’s brother really want the mc to die. Why put him in a very weak body.
..wait, that madman reminds me of sung Hyunjae though hyunjae is much better
