BJ Villainess Chapter 160

Ilya thought everything was annoying. He was sick and tired of even making decisions for the well-being of the heavenly world. He just wanted to hold Theresa in his arms and feel her warmth, hear her laughter that came out intermittently due to ticklishness, and look into her eyes that faced him. Yet, he exercised great patience and managed to deal with a few tasks during the short time he went out to get food for Theresa. Then, an incident occurred.

“Please bring back Miss Theresa to the central headquarters. She’s an essential talent that must be here.”

As if possessed by something, the angels came to his office to petition to bring back Theresa. Yosep was the most active among them. He asked bluntly, “Lord Ilya, have you imprinted on Theresa?”

“Why ask that?”

“I heard Miss Theresa appeared in the central city with you a few days ago. Moreover, they said you were married.”

“So what if I imprinted her?”

Yosep dared to stare at Ilya with murderous eyes. “I don’t care if Miss Theresa is imprinted with someone else. Even so, I lo—!”

Yosep couldn’t finish his speech. It was because Ilya magically silenced the angels’ mouths and bound their limbs, forcing them to kneel. He gave an order to Delios, who stood silently with an anxious expression.

“Take them away immediately. Demote all angels who support this thought and dispose of the mastermind.”

“!!”

No matter how intolerant Ilya is, he has never been such a tyrant. Delios wanted to argue, but upon meeting Ilya’s cold eyes, he realized that any wrong word could make him face the same fate as them.

“…Understood.”

“And one more thing.” Ilya’s command didn’t end there. “From now on, any angel who mentions Theresa will be considered a traitor.”

Delios felt betrayed by the absurd order of Ilya, his idol and respected archangel. But it was strange when he thought about it. The subject was merely a low-level angel, just one among many. How could she have such influence?

While heading out to carry out the order, Delios bumped into Marin. With a flushed face as if startled by something, Marin rushed over.

“Where is Lord Ilya?”

“He’s in the office. What’s the matter?”

“I need to tell Lord Ilya about the matching rate immediately.”

Instinctively, Delios grabbed Marin. “Wait.”

“Why? If it’s not urgent, please let me go…”

“Lord Ilya just disciplined a large number of angels. Also, from now on, any angel mentioning Theresa will be considered a traitor.”

“What?! Lord Ilya?!”

Marin jumped in disbelief, then paused as if realizing something. “It’s possible. It could be that way.”

“What do you mean?”

“You’ve seen it before. A 999% matching rate. So far, I’ve been trying to figure out how that’s possible and discovered something.”

“Keep talking.”

Marin swallowed nervously and spoke in a hushed tone. “God has a perfect match rate with all the angels that serve them. If Theresa’s rate with other angels is also 999%… then she might be the being we think of.”

Delios opened his mouth in shock and then shook his head. It didn’t make any sense.

“But the heavenly world is independent from the celestial, so we no longer serve God.  But how could there be a 999% match rate with a God we don’t serve?”

“Because it’s not just any God.”

“What?”

Marin shuddered as if chilled. “I mean she’s the creator of this world!”

Delios even felt dizzy at the startling speculation. “The creator? Does that make sense? If it’s true, why would she appear here as a low-level angel?

“I don’t know either.”

Sigh. Never speak of such nonsense again. Understand?”

Marin looked visibly downcast. “But it’s true.”

“Don’t add to the confusion in these chaotic times.”

“Yes…”

After sending Marin away, Delios delivered Ilya’s order with a disturbed mind. The military police began to identify those involved in the petition.

Delios couldn’t shake off the thought that something was going terribly wrong. This wasn’t the heavenly world he knew. If Theresa really was a god, her coming here must be to punish the heavenly world.

Delios returned to Ilya’s office with a heavy heart. But Ilya wasn’t there.

“Where did he go?”

Ilya had been staying at the headquarters only for short periods recently, but disappearing suddenly without any other instructions was unusual. And that window.

“It was definitely closed a while ago.”

Ilya, who valued principles, moved through the window? What could be so urgent?

It must be something related to Theresa.

Delios flew out the window with a stiff face. He had a bad feeling about this.

I was clinging to Clyde’s neck as if I was going to strangle him. And it was for good reason— the island was falling from above my head!

Uaargh! Uaaaaargh! Help me! Please help me!”

“Shut up, will you!”

The falling island wasn’t even small. I trembled like a dinosaur facing extinction, watching the meteorite falling.

“Jinwoo, why the hell did you put such a setting in!”

Ding!

[The Constellation ‘Cider Pass’ has sponsored 100,000 coins.]

[LMFAO ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Calling out your real name like thatㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.]

Clyde glared at me annoyedly and slowed down the island’s fall with a floating spell while he rushed forward faster.

“So why did you let us live on an island when there’s a perfectly good continent?!”

“I didn’t decide this! And why should an angel live in heaven instead of earth? If so, just remove your wings!”

It was then. Boooooooom—!!!!!! With a tremendous explosion that seemed to be deafening, the falling island started to split apart. This was definitely not good. The fragments of the shattered island would fall like a meteor shower!

Clyde created a shield and turned the falling fragments into dust. Then we faced the one who blew up the island.

“Stop.”

It was Zakari and elite soldiers blocking our way. Zakari spoke with a blank expression. “Clyde, I’ve come to arrest you. Come quietly.”

Clyde frowned. “What? What nonsense is this? Get out of my way now.”

“If you don’t comply with the summons, I’ll take you by force.”

Ha… let’s hear it then. Why do you want to arrest me.”

“We’ve found evidence of you gathering low-level angels to rebel against the heavenly world.”

“If you’re going to arrest me, at least make a plausible reason. Does that make sense?”

“Whether it makes sense or not is irrelevant. What’s important is whether there’s a will to rebel.”

Behind us, fragments of the island were falling, and Zakari was blocking the way in front of us.

“Zakari, you know I can handle you guys if I decide to.”

“I also know that you wouldn’t do that.”

Clyde sighed heavily. “…So you found out about my agreement to be a sacrifice?”

“I know about the agreement with the senate and that it’s absolutely not the right way.”

“I can end it with just me. There’s no right or wrong in the survival of the heavenly world.”

Zakari is aware of that too. It would be considered a necessary sacrifice if it were any other angel. But for the first time, Zakari gave an irrational answer.

“I consider you a friend. That’s why I can’t let you die.”

“That’s touching. But now, I’d prefer it if you moved aside. Ilya, who is angry, will appear soon.”

At those words, Zakari’s gaze turned to me. “Are you trying to hide that angel?”

“How did you, who are usually clueless, figure that out?”

“My father is looking for that angel. Lord Ilya has also been obsessed with her and changed recently. And  now you’re with her; it was obvious that she’s not an ordinary low-level angel.”

Zakari’s father is looking for me? But why? Just then, I had a bad feeling.

“Yes. She can’t be just an ordinary low-level angel, Zakari.” Samuel appeared with the elders. They were all archangels, an enormous force.

Samuel looked at me. “I really wanted to see you, Miss Theresa.”

A proud archangel would never use honorifics towards a low-level angel. So, he must be sure that I was no different from a god.

Clyde frowned at Samuel’s intrusive manner. “Old man, stop joking around.”

“How could I joke? Daring to do so in the presence of a god.” Samuel’s eyes, looking at me, revealed a chilling madness.

Clyde, undaunted, retorted sharply. Calling a low-level angel a god, have you lost your mind?”

“It’s useless to evade, Clyde. I’ve watched you for so long. How could I not know when you want to hide something?”

“This is why I hate coming to the island.”

Samuel chuckled, and then his face turned cold. “Before it’s too late, hand over the god so we can save the heavenly world.”

Clyde also responded coldly. “Stop talking like a dog and run away. My brother seems to be coming soon.”

This is what it looks like when a shrimp gets caught in the whale fight. I pulled my hair in a dizzying panic.
